These terms and conditions govern the sale of vehicles by Scotland Cars ("we", "us", "our"), a used car dealership based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. By purchasing a vehicle from us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

All vehicle descriptions, specifications, and photographs on our website are provided in good faith and are accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of listing. However, they do not form part of any contract. We recommend viewing the vehicle in person before purchase. Minor discrepancies between the listing and the vehicle (e.g., optional extras, colour shade) do not constitute grounds for rejection.

All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (£) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Prices may change without prior notice until a deposit has been accepted. The advertised price does not include delivery charges, which are quoted separately.

We accept deposits to reserve a vehicle. Key terms: • Deposits are non-refundable unless we are unable to fulfil the sale. • A deposit secures the vehicle for an agreed period (typically 7 days). • If you fail to complete the purchase within the agreed period, the deposit may be forfeited. • Full payment must be received and cleared before the vehicle is released.

We offer delivery across Scotland for a fee, quoted at the time of purchase based on your location. Key terms: • Delivery timescales are estimates and not guaranteed. • Risk of the vehicle passes to you upon delivery or collection. • You must inspect the vehicle upon delivery and report any transit damage immediately. • We take reasonable care during transport but are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.

As a motor dealer, we are bound by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This means: • Vehicles must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. • If a fault is discovered within the first 30 days, you may be entitled to a full refund. • After 30 days and up to 6 months, we will have one opportunity to repair the fault before further remedies apply. • These rights do not apply to faults caused by fair wear and tear, misuse, or issues disclosed prior to sale. Please contact us as soon as possible if you believe your vehicle has a fault.

Every vehicle sold by Scotland Cars comes with a 12-month warranty. Full warranty terms, including coverage, exclusions, claim limits, and conditions, are detailed on our dedicated Warranty page. The warranty terms form part of these conditions of sale.

We offer part-exchange valuations via our website. Key terms: • Valuations are indicative and subject to physical inspection of your vehicle. • The final part-exchange value may differ from the initial estimate based on the vehicle's condition. • We reserve the right to decline a part-exchange.

The finance calculator on our website is for illustration purposes only and does not constitute a finance offer or agreement. We do not currently provide finance directly. If this changes, full FCA regulatory details will be displayed.

To the fullest extent permitted by law: • Our total liability in connection with a vehicle sale shall not exceed the purchase price of the vehicle. • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., loss of earnings, travel costs) arising from a vehicle fault. • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
